Samsung втихаря купил греческую компанию Innoetics, уже 10 лет строящую свою собственную систему text-to-speech. Голоса у них получается не очень выдающиеся (но лучше чем то, что было сделано внутри Самсунга). Зато у них есть вишенка - они умеют собрав 30-50 фраз, сказанных одним человеком, быстро синтезировать его голос. Подозреваю что именно за эту фишку Самсунг и отвалил аж $50M.
